09.05.11New Order reform for two benefit shows with Gillian Gilbert and without Peter HookAccording to NME, New Order have announced that the band will reform to play two benefit gigs in October, but troublesome bass player Peter Hook will not be part of the line-up. New Order will play at Ancienne Belgique in Brussels on October 17 and at La Bataclan in Paris on October 18 to raise money for film maker Michael Shamberg, who is struggling with a debilitating illness. The record is entitled 'National Trust: The Album' and is available as a free download from Nationaltrust.org.uk now.
