So many old names are coming out of the woodwork today! Nouvelle Vague’s third album, NV3 will be released in the UK on June 15th.

Nouvelle Vague’s approach is so beautiful and unusual that many of the original artists have agreed to participate in the recording of the “NV3” cover of their own songs. Ian McCulloch croons on All My Colors, Gore on Master and Servant, and Terry Hall on Our Lips Are Sealed. They’ll be playing four US dates before embarking on an eight week world tour. The album can be streamed via Nouvelle Vague’s myspace page. Tour dates and full track listing after the jump.

Does anybody happen to know the playlist for Nouvelle Vague’s set on June 20th, 2009 at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. They were so good. I saw them open for Dead Can Dance at the Hollywood Bowl a couple of years ago and they’ve gotten so good. Can’t wait to see them again and again…
