DIY Custom Fabric Design

Example fabrics from spoonflower.com

Pssst…. I’ll let you in on a little secret.

Phil and I both have a crafty side. Needlepoint, sewing, sculpy are all popular winter hibernation activities. So when my friend ConnieKay told me about a site that lets you design your own custom printed fabric, I was intrigued. Turns out North Carolina-based spoonflower.com is creating their own little crafting revolution, one custom print at a time. It’s as easy as uploading a JPG or TIF your design.

They have a flickr group pool where customers can showcase what they’ve made with their fabrics.
