Record Store Day 2010 will be chock full o’ limited edition goodies. My top pick has got to be the Joy Division box set from Rhino. Originally reissued a few years ago, this reissue is limited to 820 copies, this set from Rhino features new pressings of the band’s two seminal studio albums – UNKNOWN PLEASURES (’79) and CLOSER (’80) – and the 1981 two-disc rarities compilation STILL. . Mmmmmmmm….
Sea Wolf’s “Get To The Rivers Before The River Runs Too Low” will also be reissued in a limited edition of 500 on vinyl.
You can also pick up The Album Leaf’s “There Is a Wind” 12″ featuring 2 new tracks, 2 alternate takes on songs from “A Chorus of Storytellers” LP.
