San Francisco’s Tamaryn, the name of the band, and the singer, are back with “I’m Gone,” and release a new album on October 16th – coincidentally, the same Tuesday that M83 released Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming last year (don’t ask me why I knew this off the top!). Tamaryn’s drugged-out, freshly fucked vocals are strung out over what sounds like New Order’s “Regret,” had it been produced by Guy Fixsen. In other words, it’s PERFECTION. Purchase it from the Mexican Summer sight – the artists will receive a higher percentage than if you do it on iTunes. But no matter what, go fetch that dollar and get the damn song! Also, if you like this, their prior record, The Waves is essential!
