Paige and I have a fondness for all things Star Wars. I have been a massive fan since I was a kid; I saw STAR WARS pretty much every weekend until the day THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK came out. My Mom even let me ditch school to go see Empire on its opening day which also happened to be my 12th birthday! Paige’s young son is addicted to his very realistic light sabre and lives, eats, sleeps and breathes all things Star Wars. Needless to say, we get on well because of our small addiction!
Beginning (and most likely ending) tomorrow, December 20th, you can purchase a set of new Star Wars posters (also sold individually) at the geektastic site, Mondo. All three posters by were created by Olly Moss, whose few gig posters pay homage the work of Jason Munn. That’s just my opinion. Olly’s absolutely stunning 24″x36″ pieces are screen printed, hand numbered in an edition of 400. The prints will go on sale at an undisclosed time; you’ll have to follow Mondo on Twitter to find out when to log on and walk away with a piece of history.
So Santa, if you’re reading this, of course I’d like all three and I know you’re all busy and stuff at this time of year. So if you had to pick one, I love the print for Episode V, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. I Promise, I will take you to Cloud City and back if you come through for me! Love, Phil
