Rachel Zeffira of Cat’s Eyes Covers My Bloody Valentine

This one stopped me like a neat whiskey. Rachel Zeffira replicates the complexity of My Bloody Valentine’s “To Here Knows When” by using strings and horns, rather than fuzzed out guitar and intense production. I’ve gushed over MBV on our blog before (here and here), and “To Here Knows When” is probably my favorite pop song of all time. That this is a taster of what’s to come for Rachel’s solo venture (and hopefully more Cat’s Eyes material,) has me very interested to hear what’s next.
