Photography fans with iPads get something special this week. The British Journal of Photography has launched its official iPad app. The best part? The first issue is free!
Issue 1 is a whopping 400MB free download chock full of interesting interviews and reviews. The feature that piqued my interest was an interview with Anton Corbijn. In addition, there’s an interview with filmmaker Wim Wenders. The issue also contains reviews of several recent cameras including the Olympus Pen EP-3 and the Canon EOS 60D.
There’s also a feature about photographers who’ve moved from still to moving images, and a look at how photojournalism has changed since 9/11.
The price of future issues is yet to be determined, so here’s hoping the content bar remains high and the issue pricing low.
