Wayne Coyne has filmed an appropriately weird-ass video for Ariel Pink’s “Round and Round” that promises to blow your mind. The song is from my favorite album of the year, Before Today. The song itself is one of the best of the year, but you’ll have to stay tuned to find out where it lands on my Top 25 tracks of the year. The video, filmed on Wayne’s iPhone thing, is kind of like the video equivalent of My Bloody Valentine’s “To Here Knows When.” No matter where and what you view the video on, you’ll see something different. I’ll “Coyne” (I know, barf) the phrase “pixelfuck” here and now. I’m not going to google it; I trust that the term doesn’t exist. I know, shut up Phil, I just want to watch the video. Well then, why are you still reading? Enjoy!
