As if Noisepop 20 wasn’t looking sweet enough already! Last night our savvy friends at Noise Pop 20 announced the addition of The Flaming Lips, Bob Mould, Sleigh Bells and Mac McCaughan of Superchunk to their 20th anniversary festivities.
The Flaming Lips will launch this historic 20th anniversary celebration playing an intimate gig at Bimbo’s 356 Club Tuesday, February 21 with special guests Release The Sunbird opening. The Flaming Lips are reaching way back to play their classic (and my favorite) The Soft Bulletin in its entirety. Paige is luck enough to be one of twp house photographers to document the evening’s festivities, so look for plenty of pix and coverage here at The Color Awesome come February.
Noisepop 20 features independent music, art and film. It will be occupying San Francisco from Feb. 21-26.
