It’s a great week for videos! One of our favorite new artists, Diamond Rings, just released a video for, “I’m Just Me.” This is the first single off his upcoming yet-to-be-named sophomore LP which is expected to drop on Astralwerks this fall. The video for this track makes us think about what would happen if Matt Berenger and Max Headroom had a secret love child. According to his blog, Diamond Rings also has to thank Charles Youssef for designing the uber-cool “sub-zero” jacket and Lisa Howard for crafting the crystal shades!
This new track goes in a completely different Klaus Nomi-esque direction than his previous jangly-pop guitar tracks like “Wait and See.” Here at The Color Awesome we’re excited to see how it unfolds on his upcoming album.
