Converse are back with what looks like an annual release of shoes which coincides with the release of new, free music from the hot and heavies of the day. Last year, Bernard Sumner (New Order,) teamed up with Hot Chip and Hot City for the irresistible “Didn’t Know What Love Was” which is still up on the Converse site for download. This year we are treated to an equally catchy, not-quite-classic, romp from Gorillaz, with the help of “Daddy” James Murphy and the recently out of hiding Andre 3000. “Do Ya Thing” goes live today, February 23rd, 2012, but we have a radio rip from earlier today in the UK so you can judge for yourself.
