Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has unearthed rare Joy Division and New Order master tapes while digging up the basement of his new restaurant in Manchester.
According to NME“>NME, The new restaurant, which is being built in a former branch of Midland bank, was being excavated when the tapes were found, alongside guns, gold and jewellery valued at over 2 million dollars. Oliver has since given everything found in the basement to the British Treasury.
We’re hoping New Order will be announcing tour dates on this side of the pond. In the meantime, here are the dates they’ve announced in the UK:
