Sasquatch 2011 line-up announced

I After photographing Sasquatch 2009, I branded it, “A Supposedly Fun Thing I’ll Never Do Again.” I think time has a funny way of playing with memory, cause I just booked my hotel room for Sasquatch 2011.

The Sasquatch 2011 line up was announced last night at the Showbox during the festival’s launch party, which included free sets from the Thermals, Das Racist, and Mad Rad. Bands were unveiled in an animated short, with the crowd predictably reacting more strongly to the announcement of the lineup than to any of the three bands on stage. While the headliners aren’t gasp worthy, the local flavor of the headliners coupled with the oodles of great bands booked all day long makes the trek to eastern Washington look quite appealing.

Sasquatch takes place Memorial Day Weekend, May 27th- 31st at The Gorge in Quincy, WA. a four day pass is $285 till Feb 14th.
